10/28/11 ASHLAND, OH -- Ashland Theological Seminary is hosting a continuing education class titled "Approaches to Muslim Ministry" that will feature Christian apologist Jay Smith and Dr. William Payne, professor of Evangelism and World Missions at the Seminary.
Sponsored by the Sandberg Leadership Center at the Seminary, the continuing education event will be held Nov. 19 from 9 to 12 noon. The class is free and will be held in the Leadership Center.
Smith and Payne will explore the various methodologies of Christian ministry to Muslims. Smith will present his work in academic research and debate that is used to train Muslim converts to Christianity to defend their faith, while Dr. Payne will present his current approaches used in Muslim evangelism throughout the world.
