Ashland University’s Center for Civic Life Sets Forum on Prescription Drug Abuse

10/15/12 ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University’s Center for Civic Life will hold a forum titled “Prescription Drug Abuse: A Problem Hiding in Plain Sight?” on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. in Room 115 of the Dauch College of Business and Economics on the Ashland University campus.

Although few people talk about it, abuse of legal drugs is everywhere in our community. This forum will include doctors and law enforcement officials as well as citizens whose lives have been touched by this problem.

The discussion will touch on a number of topics including what does this issue look like in your community, how can we raise awareness and how to help those in need.
