4/30/14 ASHLAND, Ohio – Stacie Starr, an alumna of Ashland University’s Elyria Center, is one of five national finalists selected for the “Top Teacher Search” on the TV show “LIVE with Kelly and Michael.”

All five will travel to New York City for taping shows to be aired during “LIVE Top Teacher Week” May 12-16. After each finalist is featured during the week of May 12, viewers vote for the Top Teacher. The winner will be announced May 20, and will be awarded a grand prize of a 2015 Ford Escape.
“As a finalist for the award, Stacie will appear on the “Live with Kelly and Michael” show during the week of May 12,” said Adam Sikula, director of the M.Ed. and Bachelor’s Plus programs for AU's Stark, Cleveland and Elyria centers. “Please join us in congratulating Stacie on this wonderful achievement and lend your support to her candidacy for this tremendous honor in the coming weeks.”
