9/7/12 ASHLAND, Ohio – The Coburn Gallery at Ashland University has set a closing reception and artist talk as part of its current exhibition titled “Marking Time.” The closing reception will be held Sept. 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with the artist talk by Brant Schuller starting at 5 p.m. during the reception.
The exhibition features prints and drawings created by Schuller, a Pennsylvania artist who served as assistant professor of art at Ashland University from fall semester 1993 through spring semester 1998 before accepting a position at Millersville University in Millersville, Pa.
Since 1992, Schuller has been working as a printmaker making sculptural prints and works on paper. He received a 2001 Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship in Visual Art for this work.
The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and is free and open to the public. For more information about the reception or exhibition, call 419.289.5652 or visit us on Facebook.
