2/28/17 ASHLAND, Ohio – The Ashland University College Republicans will be hosting an event with Matt Miller, who is running for mayor of Ashland. The event, which is set for Thursday, March 16, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Hawkins-Conard Student Center Auditorium, is free and open to the public.
Miller will be describing his views on the importance of local government and his career as someone politically involved from a young age, and will be taking questions following his talk.
This will be the first in a series hosted by the College Republicans seeking to inform members of the community the importance of state and local governments at a time in which the focus has been on the presidency. Light refreshments will be provided.
