4/11/11 ASHLAND, OH -- Ashland University's Department of Recreational Services will be hosting a Community Adventure Week during the summer months.
With each day comes a new adventure. Children of ages 5 to 12 are welcome to sign up for this weeklong camp. Campers will dive into new adventures encountering daily themes like Super Safari, Under the Sea, Outdoor Survival, Safety First, Knights and Princesses, or Space is the Place.
Adventure Week is filled with fun activities such as a safari treasure hunt, climbing the wall, making Mountain Pies, a medieval joust, and time in the pool, or making animal masks, spaceships, and beanbag whales.
This will be held in the Ashland University's Recreational Center from June 27 to July 1, with a registration deadline of June 22. The time of Adventure Week is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended care available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The cost for the first camper is $150 and $100 for each additional sibling. For extended care, there is an extra $10 charge for each day needed.
