9/10/12 ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University will host “Meet the Accountant Night” on Thursday, Sept. 13, and the event will feature a number of companies recruiting for internships and full-time employment. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Ridenour Executive Education Center of the Dauch College of Business and Economics. Business casual attire is required for the event.
“This event will allow students a chance to mingle with Ashland University alumni and also network with representatives from a variety of companies and offices, including the Ohio Auditor of State, Barnes Wendling CPA, Apple Growth Partners, Athens Food Inc., Becker Professional Education, CBIZ, Cohen & Company, Deloitte Services LP, Internal Revenue Service, The Gorman Rupp Co., Maloney & Novotny LLC, Novogradac & Co. LLP, Pease & Associates Inc., Rea & Associates, Richter and Associates Inc., The J.M. Smucker Co., and Whitcomb & Hess Inc.” said Dr. Kristine Parsons, associate professor of accounting.
The event, which has been held on the Ashland University campus for the past six years, is sponsored by Becker Professional Education, Institute for Management Accountants (IMA) club and the Career Services Center.
