2/10/12 ASHLAND, OH -- Ashland University will be hosting a “Design Your Own Day” visit event for prospective students on Saturday, Feb. 20. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be held in the University’s Hawkins-Conard Student Center at 825 Claremont Ave. in Ashland.
“Design Your Own Day is a unique way for you to experience Ashland University because you can create your own schedule based on your interests in activities and academics,” said Megan Sherar, assistant director of admissions. “Whether you are just beginning your college search, trying to make a final decision before the end of spring, or transferring from another college or university, DYOD is a great option.”
Sherar said participants may choose to attend informational presentations about student life, academics, financial aid and more. “A list of session offerings will be sent to you through the confirmation letter after registration,” she said.
Prospective students will have the opportunity to sit in on classes with current Ashland University students. The class registration takes place once students have arrived to campus and checked in. The entire campus will be open for this special program.
Lunch also will be available in Ashland University’s award-winning dining hall with prospective students eating free and $5 for each additional guest. Prospective students should take note that this is a large campus visit event and that individual appointments can be made by scheduling a personal visit.
