9/1/10 ASHLAND, OH -- Ashland University will host "Meet the Accountant Night" on Thursday, Sept. 9, and the event will feature a number of companies recruiting for internships and full-time employment.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Ridenour Executive Education Center of the Dauch College of Business and Economics. Business casual attire is required for the event.
"This event will allow students a chance to mingle with Ashland University alumni and also network with representatives from a variety of companies and offices, including the Ohio Auditor of State, Barnes Wendling, Becker Professional Education, CBIZ, Cohen & Company LTD, Defense Finance & Accounting Service, Internal Revenue Service, Maloney & Novotny LLC, Meaden & Moore LTD, Novogradac & Company LLP, The J.M. Smucker Company, Rea & Associates Inc. and Gorman Rupp," said Mason Murphy, career specialist with the Ashland University Career Development Center.
The event, which has been held on the Ashland University campus for the past four years, is sponsored by Becker Education, Institute for Management Accountants (IMA) and the Career Development Center.
