Ashland University to Host Easter Brunch

3/30/15 ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University will be hosting brunch on Easter for the Ashland community. There are two brunch times, 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., at the John C. Myers Convocation Center located at 820 Claremont Avenue in Ashland, OH. Parking is located nearby at 638 Jefferson Street in Ashland.

The brunch menu offers a variety of dishes, including traditional favorites like French toast, waffles, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, bacon and sausage. The diverse menu includes other exquisite items, such as carved honey ham with caramelized pineapple, citrus chicken with wild rice and a wide variety of homemade sweets.

The prices are as follows: Adults are $21.95; seniors, 65 and older, pay $15.95; and children, 12 and under, pay $8.95. Anyone with an Ashland University ID receives a five dollar discount per each ID displayed.

Carrie Gough, the Catering Service Manager, commented on the event.

“We enjoy hosting these events for the community because it allows us to help make Easter easier on families so that they aren’t cooking the entire morning and can spend more time focusing on each other,” she said. “Also, getting an all-you-can-eat brunch really lets you enjoy as much as you want without having to worry about the preparation and cost. The food served is great and families really enjoy the meal.”
