Ashland University Hosts Aerobics and Fitness Association of America Certification

2/9/11 ASHLAND, OH -- Ashland University will be hosting an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Primary Group Exercise certification workshop Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This AFAA workshop is for current or interested group exercise instructors whose training and educational background has prepared them to take the APAA Primary Group Exercise Certification exam.

The workshop will give a review of AFAA's Basic Exercise Standards and Guidelines, anatomy, exercise science, exercise evaluation and exam criteria. This in-depth workshop also offers the Primary Group Exercise certification study guide, full one-day certification review, a one-year AFAA membership as well as a subscription to American Fitness Magazine and an instructor's certification and ID.
