Is your dream to become a chef? Do you love to cook? Come join Ashland University’s talented team of chefs for AU’s fifth annual Young Chef Camp. Learn the essential skills such as knife handling, sanitation and food handling rules as well as cooking techniques.
The camp takes place in the John C. Myers Convocation Center kitchen this summer on June 5 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and June 6 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the instruction centered on making sweet or savory crepes, fresh pasta, fresh salsa, dips and chips as well as an interactive learning experience identifying herbs and produce.
The camp is open for students ages 8 to 15, with the cost of the camp at $40 per person per event. Be sure to sign up today as limited space is available.
