Ashland University Sets Time for Community Prayer

6/22/15 ASHLAND, Ohio – The Ashland University community is grieved by this past week’s tragic events, and in light of these events, has set an informal time for prayer on Thursday (June 25) morning at 9 in the lower level of the Jack and Deb Miller Memorial Chapel. Community members are invited to join the university community for this time of prayer.

Many are grieving following the shootings of church members of the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S. C., coupled with the unspeakable tragedy of two local teens drowning at Pleasant Hill Dam. The loss of life, no matter the age, leaves everyone stunned and questioning.
