Ashland University's Matt Portner Named to National Board

8/5/11 ASHLAND, OH -- Matthew Portner, director of Auxiliary Services at Ashland University, recently accepted the position of Central Regional Representative to the Board of Directors of the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS).

Although Portner has been a member of NACAS for several years and served on several committees, this is his first national position. He will begin his new role in November.  Previously, Portner served as the president of the Central Region.

NACAS is the largest auxiliary services support organization serving higher education. The group's members include colleges and universities across the United States as well as in Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.
