3/10/14 ASHLAND, Ohio - Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery and Art Club have established “Art Saturdays,” an educational and creative experience for children 5 to 12 years old. “Art Saturdays” will be offering a class on April 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in Room 346 in the Center for the Arts on the AU campus. Registration is required prior to the Art Saturday activity and class sizes are limited.
The April 5 event, titled Art Station, is for young artists ages 5 to 12. Art Station will offer the ultimate creative learning experience -- the young artists will explore relief printmaking, painting and sculpture in this animal inspired session. The April 5 Art Station is free with a pet food donation. All art materials are provided and all pet food donations will benefit local animal shelters.
