AU Faculty and Students Attend Conference

Ashland University education faculty members and students recently attended the Multiple Perspectives on Access, Inclusion, and Disability Annual Conference held in Columbus, Ohio.

Nineteen Ashland University students enrolled in EDIS 245 International Perspectives on Disability and members of the student organization the Council for Exceptional Children attended the event. These students were Melisa Strausbaugh, Emily Tice, Jessica Brown, Madeline Garnica, Alyssa Angie, Sara McCune, Alison Green, Ariana Ortiz, Savannah Moore, Brittany Hennes, Emily Harrington, Ahmed Aldarei, Lauren Doyle, Karley Hogan, Jill Holland, Crystal Wise, Alexis Thomas, and Sydney Adkins.

Students were accompanied by Dr. Carla Abreu-Ellis, associate professor of education, and Dr. Jason Brent Ellis, associate professor of education.
