3/29/11 ASHLAND, OH -- Jennifer Prosek, founder and CEO of CJP Communications, will present the Burton D. Morgan lecture at Ashland University at noon on April 12 as part of a luncheon program sponsored by the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. The event will be held in Myers Convocation Center.

Limited tickets are available to the public at $20 each. Reservations must be made by contacting Linda Stoffer at 419-289-5210 or<>. The program is free for Ashland University students, faculty and staff, who must also contact Stoffer to make reservations.

Prosek is the author of "Army of Entrepreneurs:  Create an Engaged and Empowered Workforce for Exceptional Business Growth," which was released earlier this year. The Ashland University Bookstore will have books available for signing by Prosek after her public lecture and later in the afternoon following her meeting with students and faculty.

Prosek is the founder and CEO of CJP Communications, where she leads many of the firm's key accounts. Under her leadership, the firm has become a leading international public relations and financial communications consultancy with offices in New York, Connecticut and London.

With more than 70 professionals, the firm ranks among the top 35 independent public relations firms in the U.S., and among the top five financial communications consultancies in the UK.

In 2009, Prosek was named an "Emerging Power Player" by PR Week magazine. In 2007, Prosek was ranked among the "40 Under 40" leaders to watch in the PR profession by PR Week. CJP was named "Small Agency of the Year" by The Holmes Report in 2008 and was also named a "Best Agency to Work For" the past two years.

The secret to CJP's success has been Prosek's ability to develop, motivate and deploy her employees to be more entrepreneurial within their own positions. This strategy is the premise of her first book, "Army of Entrepreneurs: A Breakthrough Strategy to Grow Your Business," which is based on the unique business model of CJP.

Prosek is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and received her MBA from Columbia University and is a frequent lecturer at leading business schools, including Columbia, and entrepreneurial and business groups.

She serves on the board of directors of the New York City Partnership for the Homeless.

The annual Burton D. Morgan Lecture at Ashland University is made possible by a grant from The Burton D. Morgan Foundation, whose mission is to strengthen the Free Enterprise System by investing in institutions and organizations that foster the entrepreneurial spirit.
