Department of Recreational Services to Hold Community Indoor Basketball League

4/15/10 ASHLAND, Ohio --Ashland University's Department of Recreational Services will be hosting a Community Indoor Basketball League during the summer months. Play begins Tuesday, June 15, and will run every Tuesday night (with Wednesday night as a second night of play if necessary) until August 10.

Wes Bonadio, assistant director of programming for the Department of Recreational Services, said the league is open to adults age 17 and older and teams will play five-on-five with a maximum roster size of 12 players.

Teams can sign up at the Ashland University Recreation Center on King Road. The registration for teams is $300 per team and the registration fee for free agents is $40 per person. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 10.  For more information, contact Bonadio at 419-289-5440.
