7/18/12 ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University Founders School of Continuing Education Dean Dwight McElfresh has announced new leadership for the Professional Development Services area at Ashland University.
Dr. Eugene Linton has been selected as the new executive director for Professional Development Services and will serve school districts and educators in the main campus region. Dr. Linton was formerly the superintendent of Tri-County Educational Service Center in Wooster.
Georgine Collette was selected as Professional Development director of the Columbus Center. Collette was formerly the director of Professional Development for the South-Western City Schools.
Jim Flanigan was appointed director of Professional Development for the Elyria Center. Flanigan also directs the Bachelor’s Plus Program at the Elyria Center. He replaces the retiring Larry Profgner.
Paul Stellar will return to full-time duties at the Massillon Center. Stellar most recently has served both the main campus and Massillon Center.
Jim Quatman will continue to serve the Southwest Center as Professional Development Services director.
Ashland University continues to be the largest provider of graduate credit for workshop offerings in the state serving nearly 20,000 educators annually in more than 4,000 workshop offerings.
