8/25/11 ASHLAND, OH -- Paul Jones, director of Ashland University's Printing & Imaging Solutions, has been elected chairperson for the Board of Trustees for the Foundation Academy of Mansfield, a tuition-free public charter school serving students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.
The Foundation Academy of Mansfield is part of the MOSAICA Academy, a global leader in education reform. MOSAICA has served more than 45,000 students in the last 14 years and currently operates over 90 elementary, middle and high school programs in eight states, the District of Columbia and internationally.
The Foundation Academy offers an integrated program that includes art, reading, state-of-the-art technology and the Paragon curriculum. To increase student learning and success, the academy offers a 1 to 3 computer-to-student ratio as well as a school year that is 20 days longer than normal.
Jones has served on the board for the past three years and his new tasks will include responsibility for budgeting, being the final signature for projects, running meetings and attending local functions.
