4/1/13 ASHLAND, Ohio - Ashland Theological Seminary is hosting a seminar titled, “Apostasy in the Book of Hebrews,” featuring Dr. David deSilva, trustees’ distinguished professor of New Testament and Greek.
This seminar is sponsored by the Sandberg Leadership Center at the Seminary and will be held April 12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $20 for the class and will be held in the Sandberg Leadership Center.
The author of Hebrews warns believers from neglecting, drifting and denying the Gospel they had already received. How are we to understand these warnings? Is apostasy possible? What does it look like? What is the unforgivable sin, if the writer of Hebrews is even addressing this issue? These questions will be explored through conversation and by applying proper exegetical procedures.
