9/23/13 ASHLAND, Ohio - Ashland University’s Diversity on Campus (D.O.C.) organization is sponsoring a Hispanic Heritage Trivia event on Sept. 25 from 9 to 11 p.m. in Eagles’ Landing in the Hawkins-Conard Student Center.

The free event, which will feature free food and piñatas, will give students, faculty and staff an opportunity to play an interactive trivia game centered around Hispanic culture. The event is being held as part of National Hispanic Heritage Month that runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

“There will be a number of topics that will educate individuals on some of the major contributions Hispanics have made to society,” said Jonathan Locust, director of diversity and director of student conduct at Ashland University. “In addition, we will have Hispanic inspired dishes and games to make this a Hispanic Heritage Celebration to remember. All are welcome.”
