Ashland University’s tuition reduction of more than $10,000 for the 2014-15 academic year is causing quite a stir among prospective college students and their families.
“Nearly 600 prospective students visited Ashland University from Oct. 1 to Oct. 18, which is an increase of more than 30 percent over last year,” said W.C. Vance, director of undergraduate admissions. “Welcoming prospective students to campus is one of our strongest recruitment activities and a campus visit remains a very important influencer for students and their families. We are very pleased with the large increase in campus visits.”
Vance said that just today, Oct. 18, the University had approximately 100 students plus their parents visiting the Ashland campus.
