Faye Grund, MSN, APRN

Faye Grund is the dean and administrative officer of the College of Nursing. She was a PhD student as Duquesne University, and received her post master’s certificate from the University of Akron, her MS in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University, and two bachelor’s degrees in biology and nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has a certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Her specialty practices are psychiatric mental health nursing in the nursing administration. Her research interests include: mental health in college students, depression and suicidal ideation, and student success strategies.
Grund is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the National League for Nursing, and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. She has published two works including: Somatoform and Dissociative Disorders, and Foundations of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing: A Clinical Approach.
