Congress has strayed from Constitution

There may not be a silver lining in every dark cloud, but it often seems that way in American politics. The outgoing 111th Congress, which a majority of American voters has judged to be one dark storm cloud, leaves behind it at least one silver lining: As a result of its actions, a serious political conversation began.

How long will travelers put up with TSA intrusions?

Recent incidents involving pat-downs and full-body scanners at airports have generated considerable controversy. Some believe, in the name of security, that travelers should view these measures as minor and necessary inconveniences. Others insist that they have been asked to surrender too many of their rights in exchange for the false promise of safety.
