Karen Estridge, MSN, RN

Karen Estridge is assistant professor of nursing. She received her her BS in nursing from Capital University, her MSN in nursing from Otterbein College, and was a DNP student at Case Western Reserve University. She has a certification in wound/ostomy care. Her specialty practice includes medical-surgical, wound/ostomy care, and management/leadership. Her research interests include Interteaching methods for student success and comfort and adherence hemodialysis patient population. She is the president of the Rho Nu at-Large chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, as well as cabinet member of region 10 of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and a charter member and past president of the Theta chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has published one work called “Humor and Health: Communication in the Workplace”.
