Terri Jewett

Terri Jewett, Professional Instructor, began teaching as an adjunct professor in 2007 and joined the faculty full time in 2014. Currently she teaches a variety of literacy courses. Her background in education includes teaching in both public and private schools and serving as a K-12 curriculum director for the public schools. Terri is also an educational consultant and enjoys planning and implementing professional development and mentoring. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from The Ohio State University and her Master of Education from Ashland University.

Tanzeah Sharpe

Tanzeah Sharpe, Professional Instructor, joined Ashland University in 2006 after having taught as an adjunct instructor for four years. Mrs. Sharpe has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Walsh University, Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University and is completing her Ed.D. in Leadership Studies at Ashland University. She has taught a variety of courses for both preschool through primary grade education, and is currently teaching education classes for assessment and evaluation of young children with special needs, early intervention and integration for young children with special needs. Ms. Sharpe is director of the workshop in teaching and intervention.

Dr. Glen Fincher II

Dr. Glen Fincher II

Dr. Glen Fincher II, associate professor of sport sciences, joined Ashland University in 1990. His areas of expertise include biostatistics and applied physiology, with an emphasis on physical fitness, strength training, and wellness. Dr. Fincher is faculty advisor to the Powerlifting club and a two time recipient of the Academic Mentor award. His B.S. and M.S. are from the University of Akron and his Ph.D. is from the University of Akron/Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Dr. Fincher is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, and an ACSM certified Health Fitness Specialist.
