Ashland University Coburn Gallery and Art Club to Host Visiting Artist Lecture

11/1/11 ASHLAND, OH -- The Coburn Art Gallery and the Art Club at Ashland University will be hosting a visiting artist lecture by Brandon Doup, who is the director of Creative Foundations-Our Town Studios Adult Day Services in Knox County on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Ronk Lecture Hall located in the Schar College of Education building on the Ashland University campus.

Brandon also is an alumnus of Ashland University, graduating in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in Fine Art. Admission is free and open to the public.

Creative Foundations, the founder of Our Town Studios in Mount Vernon, began in 2001 to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities. In February 2009, Creative Foundations founded Our Town Studios, an art studio/gallery within the adult day service program. Our Town Studios gives individuals the choice to earn an income while creating art and selling it to the community.
