Ashland University Helps Feed the Hungry

9/26/13 ASHLAND, Ohio - This year Ashland University has teamed up with Feeding America in order to outnumber hunger in the Ashland community. By purchasing and offering General Mills bulk cereal and Parfait Pro yogurt products in the AU student dining area, the University has been able to donate $456.25 for Feeding America this semester. 

Feeding America is the nation’s No. 1 domestic hunger relief charity. In addition, with this promotion Ashland University was able to help secure 3,650 meals to the Cleveland Food Bank.

“Students as well as faculty can get excited about future events like this that will help support our community,” said Matt Portner, director of auxiliary services at Ashland University. “Keep watching for more details on the new Count Chocula promotion happening later this fall.”
