Ashland University to Hold Christian Concert on March 14

2/7/14 ASHLAND, Ohio – The Ashland University Center for Religious Life will be sponsoring a spring Christian concert that will feature Christian music artist John Mark McMillan and opening artist Radial Worship. The concert will be held on Friday, March 14, at 7 p.m. in Hugo Young Theatre, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

The concert is being held in conjunction with a Christian Activities Day event at the University.

In 2002, McMillan released his debut album, “Hope Anthology, Volume 1.” In 2005, he released “The Song Inside the Sounds of Breaking Down,” which included the track “How He Loves.” The song was successful despite the album's independent release, and has been covered by several well-known artists within the Christian music industry. The March 14 AU concert will follow the release of his new album titled, “Borderland.”

Radial Worship is a unique young adult church plant in Canton, Ohio, which helps others discover Jesus and who He created them to be. Radial Worship is a team of worshipers that lead the music ministry. Coming together from various backgrounds, this group of musicians and songwriters strives to lead people into experiencing God's presence through honest and vibrant worship.
