8/29/18 ASHLAND, Ohio – A 5K Run for walkers as well as runners will be held in Ashland as part of Ashland University’s Homecoming on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 22. Walkers and those participating with strollers will begin at 9:30 a.m. near AU’s Recreation Center while the runners will go off at 10 a.m.
In lieu of an entrance fee, participants are asked to bring a canned good to benefit the Ashland County Food Bank. The first 100 registrations receive a free giveaway.
Prizes will be awarded to the first male and female to finish the race and all who participate will be entered into a raffle for a prize pack.
Those interested can register online at www.ashland.edu/rec-5k or registration is available that morning outside the Recreation Center on the AU campus from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m.
Official results will not be recorded. No pets are allowed.
