Ashland University Receives 2017 Best of Columbus Award

6/21/17 COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ashland University has been selected for the 2017 Best of Columbus Award in the Universities & Colleges category by the Columbus Award Program.

Each year, the Columbus Award Program identifies companies that it believes have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Columbus area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2017 Columbus Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Columbus Award Program and data provided by third parties.

Ashland University operates the Columbus Center, which is located at 1900 E. Dublin-Granville Road. Both Ashland University and Ashland Theological Seminary offer academic courses at this center, and classes include those from the College of Education and Graduate and Adult Studies as well as the new one-year MBA program. The university has made a number of improvements to the Columbus Center facility over the past several years, including the updating of offices, common spaces, signage, security and facility entry points.
