Ashland University Theatre Hosting Costume Sale In Time For Halloween

9/8/10 ASHLAND, OH -- Ashland University Theatre is cleaning its closets and hosting a costume sale on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Heritage Room in the John C. Myers Convocation Center.

Items range from $.25 to $15, and include a large variety of costumes ideal for Halloween. Highlights include men's suits, military uniforms, a cow costume, Cabaret costumes (multiples of the same costume), western dresses, harem hats, dozens of wigs, and props (curtains, bedding, wall paper, table clothes, etc.).

Proceeds from the sale will help the theatre department purchase equipment and supplies for the costume shop, enabling the students to improve their costume and craft skills. The sale is on a cash-basis only. Checks and credit cards will not be accepted.
