AU’s Telego Center to Sponsor Seminars for Educational Leaders

11/30/18 ASHLAND, Ohio – Two leading education officials will give presentations at Ashland University’s Ashland Leadership Academy Seminars (ALAS) that are scheduled for the first Friday and Saturday of January, February and March at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls.

Ohio’s State Superintendent of Public Instruction Paolo DeMaria and Deb Delisle, executive director of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, will be presenting at the seminars. DeMaria’s presentation will feature Ohio’s new Strategic Plan for Education, “Each Child, Our Future,” while Delisle will bring her well-known energy and insight as part of this year’s overarching ALAS theme, “Leading with the Heart in Mind.”

“The goal of each ALAS weekend is to provide educational leaders with high-impact presentations delivered by engaging presenters on a variety of contemporary topics. ALAS provides legal updates and analysis in a lively forum for professional networking, renewal and growth,” said Dr. David Silverberg, director of the Telego Center for Educational Improvement. “We look forward to your participation as we continue to deliver best-in-the-field speakers and informative topics.”
