3/1/19 ASHLAND, Ohio – Mila Ostich, an Ashland University senior majoring in accounting with a minor in finance and business administration, was named The J.M. Smucker Co. Scholarship award winner for the academic year 2018-2019 at AU’s Student Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Meeting.
Ostich, a resident of Fairlawn, Ohio, is a 2016 graduate of Copley High School. The $2,500 scholarship was presented to Ostich by Joyce Carpenter, manager of Coffee Finance, for The J.M. Smucker Co. Ostich will graduate in May 2019.
The J.M. Smucker Co. scholarship of $2,500 is awarded annually to a returning junior or senior Ashland University accounting or finance major with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Preference is given to those qualified students who have successfully completed an internship in the industry and are members of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) student chapter, Eagle Investment Group, or other student organizations at Ashland. The scholarship is above and beyond AU financial aid.
