Stirewalt, one of today’s liveliest political commentators, is an expert storyteller and an astute speaker who combines humor and keen insight to break down today’s complex political issues. A member of Fox’s Washington bureau since 2010, Stirewalt helps coordinate political coverage across the network’s platforms, contributing articles and video segments and making regular appearances on FNC’s most popular programs.
His daily newsletter, Fox News Halftime Report, boasts nearly 200,000 subscribers and his I’ll Tell You What podcast was so successful that leading up to the 2016 election, it was spun off into a television show of the same name. Stirewalt also is part of the Fox News Decision Desk team, where he has called races on election nights over the past three electoral cycles.
Last year, Stirewalt published his first book, Every Man a King: A Short Colorful History of American Populists, a lively account of America’s populist tradition, from Andrew Jackson and Teddy Roosevelt to Ross Perot and Donald Trump.
The Ashbrook Center, located on the campus of Ashland University, seeks to restore and strengthen the capacities of the American people for constitutional self-government. Ashbrook teaches students and teachers across the country what America is and what she represents in the long history of the world. ###
