10/2/18 ASHLAND, Ohio – Registration is open for Ashland University’s Recreation Center’s winter indoor soccer league for youth teams. The eight-week winter session has play starting in early January.
As in the past, the Recreation Center is offering a youth session for ages U9/10 and U11/12 with both boys and girls divisions.
The registration deadline is Monday, Jan. 7, and play will begin on Saturday, Jan. 19, and will end on March 23. Teams will play one game a week on Saturdays with the session lasting eight weeks.
For those who are interested in playing but do not have a team, the Recreation Center will be keeping a list of "free agents" and will work to find a team for them. These free agents are not guaranteed a roster spot, however the center has been successful in finding teams for them in the past.
There is limited space in this session and the first 24 youth teams will be guaranteed a spot. To register, call 419.289.5440 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
