Crain's Cleveland Business featured a note about Ashland University's new Center for Addictions in an article on local universities. The article, titled "New centers focused on trauma, addiction established at local universities," talked about how Ashland University's Center for Addictions is housed in its department of psychology. It noted that Christy Ellis-Trolian will be its founding director and that the center will focus on developing continuing education units, training and certificate programs and associate and bachelor's degrees in the addiction counseling space.
