Dr. Richard Gray, Associate Professor of French, has written a publication blurb for the forthcoming book titled, Marvel’s Black Widow from Spy to Superhero: Essays on an Avenger with a Very Specific Skill Set, edited by Sherry Ginn (McFarland 2017). Publication blurbs are used in promotional endorsements of a book. Gray previously published a collection of essays with colleague Betty Kaklamanidou (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) titled The 21st Century Superhero: Essays on Gender, Genre and Globalization in Film (McFarland 2011) that has become a required text in a number of university courses worldwide.
