His session, titled "How America Pays for College 2016: What Counselors Need to Know," delved into results from How America Pays for College, an annual study from Sallie Mae. The study provides information about the various resources—including savings, scholarships, grants, and loans—that families use to finance higher education. It also examines attitudes students and families have about attending and paying for college. The session included an interactive discussion and a live polling exercise.
