ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University has entered into an agreement with Notre Dame College to serve as a teach-out partner for NDC students who are looking to continue their education. The NDC Board of Trustees recently announced that the college will conclude in-person academic instruction at the end of this spring semester.

The partnership enables current NDC students to complete their degrees at Ashland without interruption or loss of credits.

The agreement states that Ashland will accept 100% of NDC student credits toward an equal or comparable degree and Ashland will provide support throughout the transfer process, such as advising, academic support and student services, to ensure the success of continuing NDC students. This will allow students to complete their program in the same time frame or sooner.

According to Keith Ramsdell, vice president for enrollment and marketing at Ashland, the goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible. “We want to demonstrate what ‘Accent on the Individual’ means,” he said in reference to one of the university’s core values. “Our team is prepared to offer individualized support for every single student who expresses interest in becoming an AU Eagle.”

Also of note, net tuition and fees will cost the same or less than what the student would be paying at NDC.
