Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship
Dr. Dan Sullivan comes to Ashland University with a diversified business and academic background. Dan began his business career with General Motors as an hourly employee at the Fisher Body Pittsburgh Plant in 1976. After working jobs in material handling, maintenance, and production he joined the salaried ranks in September, 1977 as a financial analyst. In September of 1982, Dan transferred to the Mansfield Stamping Plant in Ohio as a General Supervisor of Finance. Since leaving the financial arena in 1987, he has worked as a Senior Industrial Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Production Superintendent, Quality Manager, and Shift Superintendent. In January 2004, Dan joined General Motors' Worldwide Facilities Group as a Facility Area Manager, specializing in the management of large capital projects. Dan Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics degree from the University of Pittsburgh, an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a JD from the University of Akron, and an Ed.D. in organizational leadership from Ashland University.
