Dr. Patricia Saunders

Dr. Patricia A. Saunders, associate professor of biology, joined the Ashland University faculty in 2002 and is the Director of the University's Environmental Science Program. For several years she has been advisor to Beta Beta Beta, the biology honorary. Her area of expertise is aquatic ecology. Since joining Ashland University she has directed many students doing independent research projects related to the ecology of a local lake, and she is involved in activities at the Black Fork Wetlands Preserve. She received her Ph.D. in ecology from the University of Georgia, her M.A. in ecology and evolutionary biology from Indiana University, and her B.A. in biology from Oberlin College.
